I have not read the comics but i love this series and i have a question for marvel fans.
Did Galactus actually start draining earth in the comics like in the series?
If he did would it make our planet less able to support life?
Okay, it's been a year and a half since you posted, and I don't have a full answer for you, so I'm pretty much posting here against my better judgment. That said, I do know that Galactus came to Earth with the intention to drain it in Fantastic Four 48. The Fantastic Four confronted him and I think this was the point where the Silver Surfer turned on Big G, seeing that humanity's resistance was similar to his own resistance on Zenn-La. Galactus left but trapped the Surfer on Earth, basically saying that if this planet was so important to him, he should stay there, and thus barring him from returning to Zenn-La.
So, Galactus did come to Earth with the intention of draining it, but I don't know if he actually did at all.
