Wrestlers/managers that should have had a spot on this show

I am def the biggest 80s WWF fan and I love this show but I wonder why these popular WWF personalties were never included on this show

1. Jesse Ventura- Why not include him? He was always very colorful and entertaing to hear either as a comentator or wrestler. He started the the
heel comentator phase. At least a few live action segements with Mean Gene

2. King Kong Bundy- Make a cool sidekick for Big John Studd in the animated
segments

3. Bob Orton or Terry Funk- One of these evil cowboys would have made a
great addition to the show esp Orton since he was Roddy Piper's henchman
on WWF during the time and Piper was the main heel on the show. I recall Funk
did one live action skit but I feel either him or Orton should have had a regular spot on the show

4. Jimmy Hart- I recall Bobby Heenan made just a couple of animated/live action
appearances, Hart should have had the same chance

5. Ricky Steamboat- Very popular face and I recall was about as popular as Junkyard Dog, Jimmy Snuka, or Tito Santana

6. George Steele- Very cartoon-like character perfect for this series

7. Uncle Elmer-Maybe just a oneshot appearance on a Hillbilly Jim family reuion episode

8. Fred Blassie/Gorilla Monsoon- Have them appear in just one or two live skits
because both were legends in the wrestling buisness

I also wanta say that if this saturday morning cartoon lasted 2 or 3 more years then it would have def been a shame not to feature Jake Roberts, Honkytonk Man,
Randy Savage, Elizabeth, Ted Dibiase, and the heel Andre the Giant because they
all fit right in to the cartoon/comic book aspect of WWF.

I also wish Vince Mchman didn't fire Sgt. Slaughter before the show was greenlighted because he def could be easily made into a cartoon hero. Also
wish one of Kamala's WWF stints was during this show because he would have made
some very entertaing episodes either animated or live action

I'm guessing there were probably some sticky rights issues with a number of those wrestlers. I don't know that the WWF could've simply used any wrestler under contract with them at the time. Plus, according to Wikipedia, due to the fact that the episodes had to go into production several months ahead of their air dates, the animated series was often out of step with the current storylines within the WWF; i.e. a Face turning Heel, or vice versa. So it's possible that some wrestlers may have become big stars after the animated series went into production, but before it aired, and were thus left out and conspicuous by their absence.

After seeing Cyndi Lauper's "Goonies R Good Enough" video, I started wondering why "Classy" Freddie Blassie wasn't depicted:

Was it in part, because they already had Mr. Fuji to represent the heel manager role?
