Does Mariska Hargitay have it in her contract, that a certain number of times each season some character on the show has to make a comment about how good looking she is?
I have been on a binge re-watching seasons 1-5 and love the show, but it seems her attractiveness has been mentioned numerous times,usually in some off the cuff remark. LOL.
It's actually kinda unrealistic she isn't getting catcalled, patted, and hit on left and right. They minimize her beauty on the show, if anything, and how people really treat someone who looks like that.

I don't think she receives too many compliments.
She's an attractive woman and I think it's realistic that people notice.
You're a man, huh. Y'all don't realize. I'm nowhere near that good-looking and people tried to pick me up in the office constantly when I was younger. Benson would be getting that all the time, especially being a woman in a traditionally man's profession.
They're downplaying it big-time by merely mentioning her attractiveness occasionally.

She's so gorgeous it would be unrealistic if people didn't comment on it.

There were even a couple episodes where she shows some ample cleavage, either because she's called into work while wearing an evening dress, or because she has to pretend she's a hooker to keep Stabler safe (that was hot), however her cheekbones and jawline are so rocky, they put the state of Colorado to shame

Oh my god, that was the most irritating thing how every episode some female being questioned would come on to Rey Curtis. It was sickening, I hated that hypocritical scumbag character anyway, that was cringeworthy. His good looks were shoved down our throats way more than Mariska's, I can't remember the last time a male character came on to Olivia.
