They've done infanticide, and black market sales, and kinda hinted at it with pedophiles(with older children present, never just a baby), but never anything centered around the sexual abuse of babies.

That would be a very good episode. Unfortunately it will never happen as it is too much for the current SVU fan base to handle. I miss when SVU would tackle gruesome and uncomfortable material like they did in the early seasons. Now it seems that over 80 percent of the episodes are a he said she said rape case where Benson preaches about how the female should always be believed, gets angry when someone questions her story, gets angry at Barba and tells him he is supporting anti women injustice when he says their isn't enough evidence, he submits and takes a weak case to court, he either manages to shake up the defense and gets a win, is forced to take a lenient plea deal or he gets destroyed. It seems like 80 percent of the cases now follow this pattern so they can allow Mariska to preach about how rape victims are mistreated the whole time
