This absolutely the worst and most depressing show on Noggin. Franklin is a little turd, the music makes a person want to off themselves, or squaredance in a prison and some of the characters are just way too annoying.
I can't wait for the day when they cancel this stupid show about a bratty turtle.
As corny as Franklin is, it's not a bad show by any means. It's certainly better than any of the s*** currently running on Nick:
Dora the Explorer
Go Diego Go!
Ni Hao Kai-Lan!
The Backyardigans
(Not to mention the excrutiatingly annoying Moose who pops up between shows on Noggin. )
As well as other retired Nick Jr. shows like Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Oswald and Little Bill. Not a big fan of Blue's Clues either.
All of these shows are abominations, and really insulting, particularly Dora and its spin/rip-offs. (You could argue that I'm 19 and shouldn't be watching these shows, but I have been watching most of these since I was a kid and I didn't like them back then, either.) Franklin is a good show considering its genre, although it's not as good as Little Bear, Rolie Polie Olie or Papa Beaver's Story Time (anyone remember THAT?).

There is something seriously wrong with Franklin. I can't put my finger on it, but the kid is too nice. I'm sure he will grow up to be some kind of mutant who goes on a murderous rampage.

When I used to babysit my nephews and Franklin was the only show that didn't make me want to stab my eyes out lol. Maybe it was because I remember reading the books in elementary school. But I thought Franklin was the easiest show to sit through on Noggin/Nick Jr.

The original series ran from 1997-2004, so it's already been dead. The only thing keeping it alive after all these years are memes.
