ideas for Series 9

Had the show carried on into a 9th series heres a few ideas i had

Kill off Julie S when her cancer returns - Ok i liked Julie but nice people die from cancer all the time and it would have been really a shock and upsetting for the audience to see a well loved and likeable character die in that way and sometimes you have to be tough and do something that will upset the audience. Once Julie S had died i would keep Julie J in the show by herself without her friend and explore her struggling to cope with this. As Julie had a fragile mental state this would really push her to the limit. The actress who played Julie J was very good i thought.

Bring Di back as a prisoner - See her struggle to survive as a prisoner in the prison she once worked at and attempt to prove her innocence over Fenner's death. She will start a feud with Julie J and Julie will be vunerable after the loss of Julie S

Bring in a new baddie for Kerrigan to battle with but one who is powerful, like Yvonne only an evil version. Will Kerrigan defeat her like she did Buxton?

Bring in a character who killed a child. Prisoners hate anyone who commits crimes against kids.

Explore Joy Masterton more. She was a good character i thought but came into Bad Girls a bit late and never got to reach her full potential.

Any thoughts on my ideas?

I've always thought about the possibility of a 'follow-up' episode:
* Whatever happened to Nikki and Helen?
* What happened to Kris and Selena after the protest?
* Sheena and Dylan.

*sighs* Looks like ITV seem content in giving us more drivel as opposed to high quality drama. If the series was to be redone again over here, I doubt half of the things wouldn't get shown this time round.

It was very wise to end after the disaster of Series 8, the best episode was probably the Christmas special.

I'm not sure about killing off Julie S Simply because I think the point was to show how even more devastating the diagnosis is in prison. As well as the limitations of the health service. I thought it was nice seeing someone overcome cancer in that environment if there was a series 9 I think the Julies should be released at the end of the series and finally be given their happy ending. Or how about Julie S's cancer does return just as they are about to leave and Julie J is found out as Fenner's Murderer putting Julie S in the impossible situation of would could be her last chance to be free and spend the time she has left making sure her Grand daughter remembers her?

A new Baddie for Pat could be good but it needs something fresh and dynamic so it isn't just a repeat of Nat and Pat.

Absolutely agree with a child killer I wondered for a long time why they hadn't done this before! I also wondered why they hadn't explored post natal depression - perhaps the two could have gone together?

Definitely agree with Joy! She was interesting, I liked the story with Stella but it ended too quick and left me wanting more, which we didn't get.
