STOP CORRECTING ME. PLEASE.

For some reason, I ALREADY corrected the character name of Ogata-sama in the credits of the 2nd "Yu-Yu-Hakusho" movie as KURAMA, but now it's back to blasted KURUMA again!!!

Please, people! I have seen ALL of "Yu-Yu-Hakusho" (or as you very corny Americans call it, "The Poltergeist Report"), and by ALL I mean the television series, the two movies and the rare "Eizo Hakusho", I have friends from Japan who read the Chinese characters (kanji) of that name, and IT READS BLOODY FRIGGIN' KURAMA!!!

If anyone DARES to correct me again ...

OMAE O KOROSU. <brings out Rose Sword and assumes attack stance>

reply

It's definately Kurama.

Never heard any American call Yuyu Hakusho "Poltergiest Report," that's just the American name of the 2nd movie.

reply

We call tit YU Yu Hakusho, not poltergiest report.

"The Poltergeist Report" was the title (2nd "movie" only) that Central Parke came up with. Media Blasters/Bang! Zoom! Entertainment, Viz Media Entertainment, and Funimation Entertainment all call it Yu Yu Hakusho (just like the rest of the world).

Whenever Funi gets the rights to the movie (so they can release the English dub they made) "Poltergeist Report" will be gone and "Yu Yu Hakusho The Movie: Bonds of Steel"(???) will be in it's place.

reply

Well "Poltergeist Report" is the title of the movie based on the show "Yu Yu Hakusho", but yes, Kurama is his name. Maybe the credits of the movie spell it wrong. I've seen the name Kayko in the show's US credits pretty often, but it's actually Keiko. I'm American, but I've seen quite a few credits in anime get messed up.
