most people miss it but if you look close enough you can see the flowers what kind are they, where and how they are arranged. the dialogue and the "acting". visuals.
its almost everything has meaning in it.

I've read that if you understand Japanese floral symbolism, the flowers can tell the story almost on their own. I don't have a deep enough understanding of it though.
