Only the theme song was good

"Snoops" was developed back during that time when it seemed like everything David E. Kelley touched turned to gold (Ally McBeal, The Practice, etc).

Alas, this is when Kelley's magic touch ran out. "Snoops" was underwhelming, at best. I remember reading one review about the show where the author was trying very hard to avoid tearing the show apart. However, it seems that the best thing he could say about the show was that it was pretty cool that it was using Blondie's "One Way or Another" as the theme song. That was probably more damning than if the author has ripped the show.
