This is what would have happened in season 3

According to Ryan Murphy.

Brooke's Hit, Harrison Chooses
The third season would have picked up in the fall of the Kennedy High gang's senior year. A bandaged Brooke has been in a coma for four months, and awakens to find that every bone in her face was broken when Nicole's car slammed into her. The bandages are removed, and she looks exactly the same ... except that she's now a brunette. Nicole is put on trial for attempted manslaughter, and she argues that she was driving drunk because only alcohol could erase the pain of being sexually molested by Brooke's father. Nicole begs Brooke to tell the judge that she stepped in front of the car, which Brooke does. Turns out Harrison had chosen her over Sam at the prom, but when Sam started crying at their table, Brooke couldn't take it and fled. Nicole clears the dad's name, but her kindness is short-lived. She vows to rule the school. Sam and Brooke vow to do anything to stop her.

Harrison's a Player, Lily Kicks Josh Out
Brooke and Harrison start dating and for the first time in his life, he's popular. In a Beverly Hills, 90210 - styl-e spoof, he starts hooking up with tons of girls and breaks Brooke's heart. (Murphy says he and Pope were into making Sam a lesbian and a raging drunk.) Harrison is schooled in the pitfalls of popularity when Josh moves in with him and his mom. Josh and Lily had been doing fine, until she discovered his gambling addiction to ... cockfighting.

Mary Cherry's a Dog, B. Ho Killed by Girl Gang
Meanwhile, Mary Cherry is supposed to be sent to live in twin sister B. Ho's old 'hood, but accidentally ends up at a dog pound where she's put up for adoption. B. Ho joins forces with Nicole (and a new character, an African-American student named Unique Jones), and they do drive-by shootings, until B. Ho is gunned down by an all-girl gang. A grieving Cherry Cherry arrives at the pound just in time to save Mary Cherry from etherisation ... and to take her to B. Ho's funeral, which spoofs the whole "South Central, shot-too-soon, homey thing." After Cherry Cherry pours out some Malt 45 liquor into B. Ho's coffin, she once again accepts Mary Cherry as her daughter. Mary Cherry joins Brooke and Sam's group. Cherry Cherry starts teaching a daily course at the school called "Madonna 101." (Murphy says they were trying to get Madonna to make a guest appearance.) And Unique turns so psycho that she even scares Nicole.

Brooke and Nicole Unite, Mary Cherry Buys Melrose Place
Nicole goes to Sam and Brooke and begs them to help her stop Unique from ruining the school. Brooke and Nicole reunite as best friends, and all is well until Kennedy High is bought and converted into a nursing home. The kids are forced to take their GREs because the old folks won't wait for the real estate, and they all go off to college early. The screen goes black and -- poof! -- it's five years later. Mary Cherry has bought Melrose Place and they all live there rent-free. The last three months of the season is spent spoofing the twentysomethings-on-their-own genre.

I wish this could have happened.

I wonder what the final episode would have been like.

I've seen this before and was happy the show ended if this is the direction it would have taken.

Hey! I am very interested to know where you found all this info? Most of it I read about myself, but not the part about Nicole claiming that Mike sexually assaulted her, which led to her drinking and driving, and definetely not her begging for Brooke to be on her side! Why on earth would she believe her?? I could never see them becoming friends again after what she did?

This is really the part about the cliffhanger that made me frustrated, also what happened to Brooke, Harrison and Sam. I wonder how anyone could forgive Nicole for what she did! I wish this happened in season 3:

- The season picks up right where it left off. Nicole flees the scene after realizing what she's done, but since Sam saw her she used her reporter skills to track her down and put her on trial. BUT seing how she lies about Mike and that she's a minor, she is set free and Mike lands in jail. Since she is such a good liar, everyone starts to believe her.

When Brooke wakes up after her coma. She learns about the lies about her father (which she is lead to believe). But she is still blonde. She has some recovery time in a wheelchair, and realizes that being popular ruined her life and almost got her killed. She then dyes her hair dark and does whatever she can to become unpopular. This sudden change makes Sam the most popular girl in school.

When homecoming arrives, Nicole is back and set to take revenge on Sam for putting her on trial. Since Sam got rejected by Harrison and lost George, she becomes a lesbian and starts interacting with a new female student. Nicole sees them kiss in the Novak and plans to expose her at the homecoming dance. When she tries, Sam takes a brave stanse against her and admit it to everyone. Everyone applauds, and everyone are reminded of Nicole's evil behavior. She is then forced to come clean about Mike. He is set free, and Nicole is expelled from Kennedy.

After a while, Brooke starts to miss being popular and is jealous of Sam, now that she is most popular, which had gotten to her head. The two starts fighting over this (Brooke is kinda back to her old selfish self by now). Harrison feels neglected and cheats with Lily, who cheats on Josh because he destroys their relationship with his gambling problem. Sam and Brooke again learn the price of fighting for popularity, and decites to just be normal sisters, and naturally remain popular.

This dont last long, as a new and evil exchange student comes and tries to take over the school's throne of most popular. Sam and Brooke must join forces to stop her, but they need an evil force on their side: Nicole. Nicole is allowed back at Kennedy (has been in Africa working with children and have changed for the better) and the three of them manage to save the school. Harrison and Brooke to end up together (like I personally always wanted), and in the end the whole Kennedy becomes a nursing home happens.

I didn't write anything for MC, Carmen or Sugar. Love both the girls but didn't have any better stories for them right now. Sugar should be written off.

What do you think?? :)

I admit, I like this version better than what Murphy stated what was going to happen. I like that you incorporated what he said and used it for your own idea.

The only exception I would make is not writing Sugar off and that's cause I really enjoy his character. I'm not too sure what could have been with his character though.

With Mary Cherry, maybe keep her with buying Melrose Place and having everyone live there rent-free. Of course something crazy-dramatic would have to happen there.

I'm definitely okay with Josh and Lily's marriage ending. I was glad they were able to connect on a level I didn't think was possible, but I just couldn't get into them being in a relationship. I have no idea if this is a good idea or not, but maybe Josh could have actually won a bunch of money from gambling and then realized what a huge problem he had and gave the money to a few charities.

I have no idea what could have been done with Carmen, she was always a character I loved having around and watching. However, I just don't know where her character could have gone.

I need to look up to see if there are any good fanfics out there with this type of storyline.
