As far as reviving shows...

Why not do this one?! That's the kind of shows studios should revive, those that were cancelled abruptly.

I've thought A LOT about this. After some considerations, I've begun to wonder: "how could it be done?" I mean, high school is out of question. So does college. Any ideas?

Brooke McQueen's murder. Like a Cold Case kind of 4 part episodes.

I don't know.... Popular is SO good because its a 90s teen show satire, but awhile being serious in its own way. The premise of the popular blonde ones and the unpopular (but still way too pretty to be realistically "unpopular") was hilarious because that's how the stereotypes in teen shows and movies were back then. It's not really like that anymore. I see it as a satire dramedy about teens, but for young adults. I loved it as a teen as a teen show, but as an adult I loved it even more and felt more like the real target audience, so I don't know. I think the show and its cast was/is already perfect. I would however love to see a Popular special, wrapping up all the loose ends after the great, but infuriating series finale!!

I couldn't agree more with you, Larsii90. The show was REALLY made for young adults. Despite all its high school set up, I don't think many teens could even understand the references at the time.

Preach!! Sadly the show was on the wrong network at the wrong time... you can tell the wb didn't give a crap about Popular as they forced Ryan Murphy to make changes thats just not true to the show (I still liked it) and moved it to friday nights... a show targeted to teens... pretty dumb. It probably would not matter today, but back then, if you missed the episode, that is bad for ratings
