excellent acting

I thought Michael Rispoli's acting was fantastic. To be able to believably act out a character who doesn't really know what's going on in his own heart and mind,and is being gradually led into places he doesn't expect, and reacts to them so subtly, and with a variety of levels of confusion and surprise.... that's real acting, in my opinion. He made Buddy totally believable and very human, someone I'd really like to know.
All the actors were excellent, actually.
