I just this movie again on cable and I have to say this is one of the most moving and heartfelt movies I have seen In a long time. great , plus I noticed in this movie how many actors in this movie also appear in the sopranos.

I never get tired of watching this movie. The acting, dialogue and overall environment appear as though the film was made during the 1950s. I would recommend this film to anyone who enjoys independent movies.
shareI have this movie on DVD, natch. But I also watch it whenever it's on TV. I stop whatever I'm doing and just live it again. Or, like right now, post on the internet whilst watching it.

It is a wonderful movie. Loved it. It showcased the best and the worst of the times, the neighborhoods and the people and I should know Im Italian from Staten Island.

shareI saw this a couple of years ago on TV, and when I saw it was coming on again today I went and woke my husband up from a nap and said "You have to see this movie!" So we watched it together and he loved it. His word for it was "charming." It is very warm, sensitive, gently humorous, and takes its time letting you get to know the characters and playing out the simple plot.
shareI just watched this movie for the first time last night. FLIX recommended the movie on it's critic's choice list. The critics were so right... this was a wonderful movie and I can't get it out of my mind. I'm going to watch it again with my husband. I sure wish there were more good movies like this available today.
