I liked this movie. I thought it was sweet and funny.

I remember hearing about it a while ago, than I forgot about it until I saw it at the video store last week. I wasn't sure if it would be good or not, but like I said I was suprised to find I liked it.

Phil was a con man. The question I have about the ending was, was Phil actually going to rape Diana if Stanley didn't comeback. I think he was and just tried to cover with the, "I attacked her so you would defend her" line. I think he was afraid that he was just caught.
No I don't believe that he had the intention to rape her....But what do I know maybe he did...

I agree with you road dogg. They messed the end up. He seemed like he was going to rape Diana. If he was just "joking" then why was he actually scaring her?
if you recall he spots luke wilson pulling up and THAN he starts getting scary. so it was an act cause he knew luke wilson was coming after him.

shareI actually liked it. It is by far one of those movies I would never choose to watch, but it was on demand and I was really bored. It was kinda stupid, but it was hilarious. Ben Affleck made this movie. He was the sole source of comic relief.

Great catch! I looked again and see it perfectly -- yep. It's funny 'cause of how easily we can get caught into possibilities of what could have been because of reality. Thanks for pointing that one out; as well, thanks to road dogg for bringing it to mind what definitely needs careful consideration while being watched.
I just watched it, and came to the board to say that I liked it as well.. wasn't nothing else on, so i landed on the channel and decided to check it.. and it was a pretty good movie.. not the best, but well worth the watch..

I liked it, too. I loved the way Phil very gradually revealed himself and how Luke Wilson's character caught on to what was going on - at the very end. Just a few beats ahead of me!
