Just thought i'd let all you fans of the film know, the film is showing at 12.35am on Friday 8th June (Saturday morning) on BBC2

*beep* me, this film just blew me away. Stunning, the friendship of the two boys was captured in such detail it was staggering. Considine was perfect, fk me that was fantastic.

Great film, the climax really had me on the edge of my seat. Considine is excellent but I thought the acting from the two young lads was the most believable
. Romeos sister was well fit, i would like her to touch it bigtime

Excellent film. The more I see of Meadows the more I am impressed. A truly great director.

I watched it last night, *beep* brilliant! paddy constantine was epic and the girl who plays ladene is hot, and i think she was in this is england as well.

Looking forward to meadows next film

I watched this film on saturday evening on dvd, and as soon as it finished I turned the tv on, and it was just starting on bbc2- one of lifes nicer coincidences. I enjoyed the film just as much second time around,and saw even darker intonations in considines character that i had missed earlier. another top onefrom meadows and considine-(check out dead mans shoes) both amazing.

Decided to give this a try after watching Shane Meadows's Dead Man's Shoes which I really enjoyed.
Whilst not quite up there with that film still thought it was pretty good and I laughed out loud a couple of times which is unusual for me.
Off now to check out some more Shane Meadows - He's very nearly becoming one of my favourite directors.

i checked just prior to the start on teletext, it did start 10 minutes late, i managed to tape it all :)

I would have liked to have seen Morell arrested or in prison at the end.

There is not much more satisfying than seeing some complete twat get their comeuppance :)
