One of the greatest shows ever?

They started showing Opposite sex on CH4 around the time I became an insomiac which was perfect timing. Considering some of the crap they put on prime time this was amazing. I'm hoping that CH4 re-show this series again so I can tape it. They used to have some great Early morning programs like this (My favourite being Off-centre).

I agree and am dying to see it again like right now and every weekend. It's that good. "John Doe" is another great show with great music and they took it off the air as well, they're crazyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

I know this topic is old, but someone is bound to come across it sooner or later... I absolutely agree! The fact that there are even people on this board talking about a show that only had 6/8 episodes (depending on where you live) shows what a great show it was. The casting was definitely perfect. Just look at where some of the stars are now... I mean, they may not be as big as Brad Pitt or whoever, but Chris Evans is pretty big. Same with Milo Ventimiglia. (I always say that anyone who thinks he can only play "bad" boys should see him as Jed. LOL) I guess those are the main ones, but I always see Kyle Howard guest starring on shows. I think the only main character we haven't heard from since is Margot Finley, and that seems to be by her choice since she certainly has the talent...

As far as Jed and Miranda, I agree. I've never been a big shipper of any couple (unless it's a weird couple that would never actually happen), but I'll admit that I really liked them together. Kate was just too "I want him, I don't want him now." She got annoying. (Plus, Phil liked her, and I felt even worse for him. It wouldn't be so bad if they had more of him and the girl from the "Virgin Episode..") Miranda tried to play it cool, but it was clear that she really liked him. In the beginning, I think I was kind of conflicted, but as soon as I saw the "Virgin Episode," I wanted him with Miranda just because I felt so bad for her, even if the virgin party was kind of a stupid idea. I thought it was also interesting how differently the girls acted once they actually did get with him - Kate became the physical one, and Miranda just wanted to talk.. Of course the worst thing is that there was no resolution in the end. We don't know who he chose (or rather, who chose him in the end when you think about it) or anything. I prefer to think he ultimately would have been with Miranda if the show made it past those episodes...

One of the greatest shows ever? Absolutely. Definitely the most underrated show I've seen that got less than one season and, really, not even a full season...
