The worst movie I've ever seen....

I see a LOT of movies, and even with the dullest, ugliest films I usually manage to find something optimistic to say about them - whether it's a clever line, a mildly good performance, or even a nice soundtrack...

But there was absolutely NOTHING about this movie that I liked. It's easily my least favorite film. Anyone else agree with me?

"I believe it's the drama in life that makes you strong." - Diane Keaton, "Something's Gotta Give"

Eh, I don't think it was that bad. It's one of those movies you gotta turn off your brain to like it. (That's why I have it on DVD!) ;-)

reply

I liked it. of course I'm very good at turning my brain off

It wasn't great & it's obviously not Shane or James's finest moment, but for me I wouldn't call it the worst movie I've ever seen. I went into this not really having high hopes for it anyways. I did enjoy other movies better than are in this teen genre, but this isn't the worst.

I thought this was a really cute teen romantic comedy that is right up there with "She's all that" and "10 things I hate about You."

How can you now laugh hysterically when the girl sucks Ryan's finger at the end of their date...and James Franco holds out his finger to his date??

lol...

Trust me..........there are many "truly bad" movie out there and I just do not consider this one.

This movie would be in my Top 100 all time. There were quite a few funny parts. Plus at the time I saw it I was in love with Marla Sokoloff.

reply

OP must have seen like 7 movies to have this be considered the worst movie they have ever seen.

Well, it's not the worst movie ever. But it's really bad. Very very bad.
Even teenage comedies can be cool. This one is dumb.

Marla Sokoloff's character was extremeley lame, the plot unbelievably stupid.
Ashley was pretty cool at the beginning, popular, but not bad person. And then wow - she became a real bitch?

There was no single joke in this movie, the whole 'big love' came out of nowhere.

Yes its awful.
