this film is a cross between bottom and fawlty towers. It is like fawltey towers but written by rik and ade. Its so dark and so funny and bloody violent but it goes so right utter brilliance.

I agree that it is a fantastic film! It has a unique eriee atmosphere to it, but manages to be so funny - I laugh every time I see it! And Rik's comic acting is just superb throughout!

Hi all. I watched GHP some time ago and I wasn't paying attention to that stuff:

are there any actual references to fawlty towers in GHP?

They're showing it on TV tomorrow night, I'm excited - never seen it before!

The TV guide said it "was no Faulty Towers" in their review, but I suppose that's a matter of taste.
