Hi. I cannot remember who starred in this one. I remember the girl is on she school bus with her friend, holding her and they are watching the train approaching the stalled bus. The girl's friend dies, and while the main girl is recuperating (re-learning everything) she repeats, "I Lived. I lived. I lived." Anyone remember this one?

It sounds like you are describing: The Long Journey Back (1978) with Stephanie Zimbalist. This is not a after school special but rather a made for TV movie. It's based on a true story.
