Have to agree. This is only the second Zatoichi film of 23 now that I've rated less than an 8... Decent movie, but it just seemed kind of uninspired, like the series is finally starting to run out of steam (though I'm still expecting #24 and 25 to prove it a fluke 😃). Also contained easily the lamest attempts at humour in the series, which is surprising after how sincerely funny #22 was.
