Manos the hands of fate, then manos is just hard for me to imagine. I really need to pick up the mystery science theatre version and compare it to this film. I mean, Pinata is just terrible terrible terrible. For a worse film to exist is an injustice.

I would say Manos Hands of Fate is the worse of the two. Pinata Island at least had some hot babes to look at.

Wow, I just started a topic on this board along those lines. Agreed, man. Somewhere post-modernism got in the way (was it Scream?) and no one has the courage to just be genuinely bad anymore. Now all the talentless hacks have evasions for their lack of competence, and there's no one with a strong enough mix of passion, ambition, and moderate self-delusion to take the weight. Maybe Uwe Boll's our only hope?

Well, I guess it did give Nicholas Brendon a couple of pennies towards his bank account since Buffy was gone. With Hollywood running out of ideas and stealing movies directly from kiddies video games lately, it really isn't a surprise that crap like this is being made. On the brighter side, I hear ABC has just decided to make a pilot about the Geico CAVEMAN guy. At least he's entertaining.
Manos is worse, hands down. Of course, "Birdemic: Shock and Terror" is even worse than Manos. I have watched about 60% of the Bottom 100, "Demon Island" aka "Pinata Survival Island" is one of the better films on it. It was merely a retarded concept, executed cheaply. Quite a few of these films are retarded concept, executed ineptly, by the insane. Especially Birdemic.
