the most incredible movie of the 21st century

Longshot is the funniest piece of satire I've ever seen. It's the closest thing I've seen to the Young Ones. HAHAHAHAHAHA

I agree with you,it was one of the coolest movies I've ever seen.I even like the song that Joey Schulthorpe sang called "A Reason To Love Me".It totally rocks.

i loved it! i saw it on abc family and recorded it, i watched it over and over and over! sure it has the cheesy factor, and the story had no depth, but its a fun movie. if you like the music and the cameos as i did, its a pretty good movie, i think the only thing missing were the backstreet boys' cameos. Joey Schulthorpe has an amazing voice. its totally awesome. i just bought it for $5, so cool!

If they like the movie who cares? Aren't they allowed to have their own opinions? I haven't seen the movie myself so I'm not going to say it's bad or good.

ok... I must admit that this wasn't the best movie I have ever seen in my life... but at the same time, you have to admit that there was a kind of sweetness to it. Ok... maybe sweetness wasn't the right word... it's kind of like sucking air through a cavity... it hurts... but at the same time it feels good, you know? Anyway, I do have to agree with one thing... I love the song in it!!!

This movie would be satire if it was self-aware, but it's not. It's just plain bad.

Though there may be some satirical elements, the word "satire" would never enter my mind to describe this movie - and so, I agree ... However, I will say that it is one of the most "awshum" movies I've ever seen, by far. I turned it on expecting to turn away rapidly, but we kept watching in a state of giddy disbelief..

You should have read the original script--while incredibly amusing, it was not intended as a satire. The producers thought they had a great drama in their hands. Several years later, after unsuccessfully trying to edit the footage into something respectable, they put O-town at the beginning of the movie and called it a satire. During filming all seriousness went into making this movie to launch Joey's career. How well did that turn out? Glad you found humor in watching it, but you should know it was all accidental.

Personally, I believe that this stellar piece of art was so chock full of star power that I just couldn't pull myself away. In fact, the sheer number of cameo appearances has caused me to keep this video rental long past its due date simply in order to watch and rewatch in attempts to catch each and every glimpse of their luminous faces. I just got done making myself a list along with "star cards" with pictures of each of the cameos faces so I can play a kind of "cameo bingo" while watching the film again and again. My goal is to catch them all in one sitting-- no pausing, rewinding, or IMDb help!! I am just holding my breath until "Longshot2: Revenge of the 'B' Stars" is released in theaters!

WORST movie ever made

reply

Yeah this is a pretty bad movie... I wont go and say its the WORST movie, but it is definitly in the top 10 LOL

the only bad part was Otowns... take that out & the rest would have at least gotten 2 stars...

~~Dogtown~~Angel~~

i just saw this movie and i thought it was terrible...especially the acting. I think the only reason why they put celeb cameos in this movie was probably because it would be the only interesting thing....the celeb parts were pointless too...

I STILL THINK JOESEPH GORDON-LEVITT IS EURASIAN.... :o)

It's pretty bad when the two main 'heros' never make another movie! (And this is the only one to their credit!)

Ive seen worse. In fact I'm watching a pretty bad foreign movie right now. But this has got to be some of the worst pig *beep* made on American soil. It ranks up there with The Marine and other horse semen from the great wwe. How embarrasing
