My interpretation: Spinoza's nature

I got a Spinozan philosophical message from the film: Nature is inherently perfect, not in a humanistic ethical sense, but in the sense that nature doesn't reason and act out of emotion. Nature simply is. So man's control over nature is undeniably futile due to the absolute perfection of the infinite essence that is nature (or God in Spinoza's writings).

Obviously the film has so many other messages and themes but this is the theme I got from my first viewing.

"Fire walk with me..."
