I can't believe I did not know this book was made into a movie. Authored by the co-creator of the men's adventure series THE DESTROYER. If you like this story READ THE BOOK. And his other stand-alone novel A FAR ARENA shares similar subject matter and a really interesting plot about the Last Gladiator of Roman Arenas, suspended animation and more information on the history of end-times of the Empire than you'd ever imagine you'd want to read. He was a newspaper reporter before he started writing novels, and it shows.
