I'm aware of the OOP Hong Kong dvd, the Australian edition and the North American dubbed only and original/dub/subtitled Tokyo Shock dvd, which are all non anamorphic.
But could someone recommend which version is the better?

I've only seen the Tokyo Shock made version and it's petty good. The picture was nice a clear and the sounds was fine. It was English dubbed of course, but wasn't too bad.
The movie was decent, especially the opening scene. I got it from Netflix. Defibnitely worth seeing at least once. Also check out "The Buddhist Fist". Another great martial arts movie.
