I have heard that this was actually real. The BBC (via the Secret Services) paid hush money to those involved (Parky even got his old chat show back, some of the people in it were offered training as actors and given parts in teatime shows) and they pretended it was a drama afterwards. Sarah Greene was off telly for a while getting psychriatric help. Mike Smith now only works as the Dealer with the only man on tv he trusts Noel Edmonds, on Deal or No Deal.
