Was this based on the Enfield Poltergeist?

I watched this years ago (when I was twelve) and I hadn't seen any simularities, but now that I'm older, I see way too many simularities between this and the Enfield Poltergeist case for this to just be coincidental. Suzanne's experience with 'the voice', the picture the parapsychologist took, the noises, the part in the bedroom, etc, it all seemed very much like the Enfield case. Even the two sisters room, the single mother, the daughters even looked similar to the girls involved.
