I haven't seen the chuck n buck movie in awhile but there is a song in the movie that is just like humming or something. Anyway i was wondering if that was by Gwendolyn too, I think I like that one even better than freedom of the heart. If you know what song I'm talking about and it's not gwendolyn WHO IS IT? shareThe wonderful vocal work is done by Petra Haden, formerly of the band That Dog. The drummer for this group, Tony Maxwell, had a cameo in the movie. Petra, who is one of a set of triplets, played violin and harmonized with her sister Rachel.
Her solo effort was titled "Imaginaryland" and contains all vocals. The movie "Chasing Amy" featured another track from this album, which was a vocalization of Bach's Prelude No. 2 in C Minor. She has such an amazing range.
