Among my favorite films, ever

Hands-down...not because of any message it has. Just terrific, honest characters.

i really like this movie too....

do u guys know what music that is playing in the bar scene (just before the sex scene) - it's instrumental; sort of trance-y kinda stuff.....

and there's a song in the scene after the play, when buck is at the look-alike's apt....sounds like IGGY POP but he's not in the credits....

little help?

It's Jonathan Richmond aka The Modern Lovers, "The Astral Plane"... classic.

This is a great film. Mike White was brilliant.

What a myopic view, with all due respect, old-ill. This is not a gay film, but more about what holds us back from growth and fulfillment, whether self-imposed or circumstantial. I think both apply to Buck.

I agree with the OP. A great movie with very honest characters -- I liked it very much and was quite moved by it.

Give thanks for a little and you will find a lot.

This is one of the movie that I still think about it even after many years. I also like "Happy Together" too.

I just finished watching it in its full length (I've caught a portion of it on IFC) for the first time. One of the most touching films I've seen in a while. It was like a Solondz movie with heart.
