Here are some more but they are all british, old and probably hard to get nowadays unless they turn up on TCM -
Robbery (1966) about the great train robbery of 1963
Payroll (1960) rough tough brit heist film
Day They Robbed the Bank of England (1960)
Villain (1970) brit gangster film with Richard Burton playing a gay gang leader! Theres a good robbery scene in it.
Sexy Beast - one of the best brit crime films in recent years with knockout performance from Ben Kingsley.
There are others but these spring to mind most easily.
Heat
The Thomas Crown Affair (either one with Pierce Brosnan or Steve McQueen)
Entrapment
The Good Thief (Nick Nolte has a very good performance in this)
are also some suggestions.
The TV show "Hustle" is worth a watch too

Some of my favorites have already been mentioned, but I'll add a few older films:
Topkapi
To Catch a Thief
How to Steal a Million
killing zoe.......... class
shareThe hot rock
Some good ones mentioned already eg.
1. The Sting
2.Sexy Beast (but the highlight here is really Ben Kingsley's outstanding pre-heist performance as possibly the nastiest character ever portrayed on film)
3. The Long Good Friday
4. The Taking of Pelham 123 (the original)....and while on the subject of Walter Matthau ....
5. Charley Varrick (from the '70's)
Sewers of gold (aka The great Riviera bank robbery)
shareHeat...best heist movie ever.
The Oceans movies are pretty good too.

I can't believe no-one has mentioned the grandfather of all heist films ... RIFIFI.
shareDie Hard
Die Hard with a vengence...except these are on the other sides of the law
Bandits
Heat
Inside man
Without a doubt, the two best ever: "The Asphalt Jungle" and "The Killing." Both were made in the 50's; each stars Sterling Hayden. Jungle was directed by John Huston. The Killing was directed by Stanley Kubrick. Need I say more.
Both movies are "inside out," meaning that the stories are told from the point of view of the criminals, not the cops. "The Killing" has one of the most treacherous femme fatales ever - Sherry Peavy played by Marie Windsor. "Asphalt" has a cameo by a rather sexy, young, blond actress you may have heard of...
How is "Die Hard" a Heist-Movie???
shareThe classic all time great Bank Job - Rififi! They don't come better that that.
