Plupin's Family

Did it ever reveal what happened to Plupin's family at the end? (Plupin being the name of the dormouse who Cluny forced to help get them into Redwall Abby in exchange for his family's lives.) Because it's been a while since I read the book, but I do remember in the TV version, I got the impression that Cluny had them killed regardless of the bargain he made with Plupin. But I might have been wrong.
