Something I noticed about other TV shows....

Ok why is that on other TV shows you have just 1 boy and maybe like 2-3 girls in the group and out of that group 1 of them have to be stupid.

For example:

Moesha- Hakeem, Moesha, Niecy, and Kim......Kim was the "dumb" one.
That's So Raven- Chelsea, Raven, and Eddie.....Chelsea was the "dumb"
One on One- Brianna, Arnez, and Sypress(whatever her name was)....I think "Arnez was supposed to be the "not so bright" one

I'm trying to think of some more shows with just 3 groups of friends...the ones I can think of with groups of people and 1 stupid person in the group

Martin- Cole was the stupid one
Friends- Pheobe she was pretty dumb at times
The Golden Girls- Rose was clueless, she was smart when she wanted to be
Living Single- Sinclair James was pretty clueless and dumb at times

I think you're being nice about Arnaz to say "not so bright".

Angel: the Series- Gunn (season 2-4) was street-smart, but not what you'd call a big thinker (though he was moreso the muscle). Harmony (season 5) was dumb as a box of rocks disguised as an even bigger rock.

Blossom (remember that)- Joey was a serious dummy.

Ed, Edd, and Eddy- Ed was a supreme doofuss!

There is a method to this madness. Whenever you have a trio, you need a calm, centered one (ego), a technical, sort-of-stoic one (superego), and a tough, if not very bright one (id).

I think you right about that statement. I was watching Kenan & Kel and I forgot how dumb Kel was. He play a dumb character really well and I agree Steve and Bullethead play dumb characters great to.

Something else I noticed is that usually in a show with a predominately black cast, the one white character in the group is usually also the dumb friend.

Not calling racism or anything, just an observation.
