Archer

who else thinks archer looks about 30?
if this were any other film, i would say i love it, but i dont think love is the right word how can anyone love Scum! Rather i was just so stunned and moved by it.
my favourite character is archer, he obviously considers himself very intelligent,but i admire him how many 'youths' these days could live in an institution like that and have ideas and theories like this and keep his cool and remain optismic? i certainly dont know anyone. maybe he isnt that realistic to my generation, but i wish he was.
Scum is the reason i spluttered indignantly in my as film studies class last week at the ignorant fool who said, 'well all british films are rubbish.' Oh what a mistake he made.

Its an amazing film, with all the right elements, a good director good actors good screen play and most importantly Ray.
