I like this movie but...

While this film is far from great, it's creepy and bizarre in a way that makes me like it. However...lots of it does not make any sense, no matter how many times I see it. What's with the Fox and Cat being "anthros" who were once human? The biggest "WHA??" of course is

(major movie spoilers ahead)

what on earth is the deal with the Madame actually being her husband, who is actually a sea monster?? WHA??

Not my favorite fairytale movie, and creepy as hell, but this is an imaginative film, I'll give it that.

You have to watch the Jonathan taylor Thomas movie first. This was supposed to be a sequel to that movie where Lorenzo is turned into a sea monster and the other 2 characters become a cat and fox

The penguins are calling and I can't find my way out of the labyrinth.

Which one? What's the title? Thanks.

The Adventures of Pinocchio which also has martin landua in it. He and Udo Kier are the only cast members in both movies

I'll have to try and find it. Thanks. :)

Okay I've just watched both of these movies and while I guess I get the fox and cat now, I still don't get the Flambeau/Lorenzini thing. Sorry I must have missed something. :P Oh well.

Yeah it was a crazy plot. Basically in the first movie Lorenzo drinks the water that turns boys into jackasses and it turns him into a sea monster. (Think of it as the water bringing out the worst part of you). Then the whole wife/him thing got really confusing I dont think I could actually explain that one
