And David Bowles as the CHIEF VILLAIN

I find this thespian to be very underrated. He alone makes this film worth watching. A great performance - subtle yet full of menace and also a touch of humanity. This performance led to greater things: the imprtant role of Morgar in Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves were he chewed scenery and stole every scene he was in.

But you are forgetting his memorable part as "Harry" in Lethal Impact, a movie sadly released directly to video, clearly sabotaged by the greedy big studios. Who would, after all, want a movie starring The Mighty Bowles alongside such big screen luminaries such as Terence Hardiman and Brett Sinclair, opposite their own masterpieces like Kindergarten Cop or Highlander II: The Quickening?

Luckily, his career was not harmed at the least, and we are still today able to enjoy Mr. Bowles' stellar performances in such acclaimed roles as "Auction Bidder" in Eastenders (a role he later reprised in another acclaimed production known as Coronation Street) and (uncredited) Joe in Major League: Back to the Minors.

It should not coome as a surprise, then, that Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II (one of his most dedicated fans by her own admission) is to honour him with the Order of the British Empire. It is the least honour that can be given to this brilliant stage, screen, and daytime television thespian.

David Bowles, we salute you!

-Goodnight, mother of six!
-Goodnight, father of two!
