There are different versions..?

Too make it more confusing there are different versions of this cut and paste mess.

I have a version that came in the 50 martial arts movies pack it is only 67 mins and I think some of the more graphic stuff was edited. This version is also in the public domain:
http://www.amazon.com/Martial-Arts-Movie-Pack-Collection/dp/B0007DBJUU /ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1199789441&sr=1-1

Then I see there is a review of a german version here which is 79 mins: http://mitglied.lycos.de/gollumslair/ninjas/ninjaprotector/ninjathepro tector.htm

The amazon.com and most other versions are 85 mins:

Also didn't see Jackie Chan myself in this but then in user comments one of the reviews make it sounds like a different movie:

"Jackie Chan stars as a rickshaw runner with a dream and a past. When Chung Fun (Jackie Chan) steals the sacred scroll from the forbidden city, Jackie Chan must rise up and become Ninja the Protector of the Sacred Scroll. At his side is Cao Pi, the wisecracking yet lovable sidekick ("Daaaamn, bro. You cut that fool up."). However, Chung Fun ups the ante by kidnapping the Princess (Yvette Chang, in what should have been an Oscar-winning role). It's twists like this that keep you on your toes and keeps Ninja the Protector a top-notch movie. Richard Harrison also makes a brilliant cameo as the man who taught Jackie Chan everything he knows as well as actually writing the scroll.

I also have the 50-pack. Sounds like a different movie - would be interesting to know - but I think I read in a Harrison interview that he only made one ninja movie but the producer guy Ho cut and pasted lots of bits that wasn't used to make a load of other movies.
