Right, so it seems quite a lot of people, including me, would love for this to be released on DVD... It's been established a VCD is available (from here - http://store.pilipinosuperstore.com/ninkidlivfor.html) which doesn't appeal much to me, because I'd prefer DVD format, and an audio track of both the original audio, and the "Ninja Kids Phantom Force" English over-dubbing for nostalgic purposes haha.

If you see a "Ninja Kids" on DVD anywhere else it is most probably the different 1982 film of the same name.

I recently read (http://francismagalona.multiply.com/journal/item/63) that the cast of 'Bagets' had a reunion for interviews for a DVD Viva Entertainment are(/have?) releasing/released. At the end of the article it says "Next DVD? Ninja Kids definitely!!!!" ...but that was posted in 2005, which sucks. That seems like a lifetime ago. As it is, Viva Entertainment have the rights to the film, so I propose if you'd like to see it on DVD within the next few years - try emailing them asking if they ever will because you and 439034 other people wanna buy a copy.

Thanks for the info and update! :) Make that 439034 people plus 1 who want to see it! Funny enough, like you vypers, I saw this ages and ages ago in Pakistan on an old VHS tape (It was the english dubbed version, Ninja Kids Phantom Force). What I remember most was the cheesily funny/bad dialogue, and the hand gesture they'd use to transform into ninjas...and something about fighting some kind of giant as well right at the end when they discover (HORRORS!) that they've now lost their power after defeating the bad guy!

Does that stir up any more memories? :)

After reading the posts I had a search through some old VHS tapes I had long since forgotten about and discovered my original (english dubbed) version of this film, now going to try and put it onto dvd to watch it as many times as I did as a kid! Hope they do eventually re-release this on to dvd.
