Scene composition and lighting


Did anyone note the striking scene composure and lighting presented over and over throughout, "Models"? It looks like wide angle lenses were used to enhance this effect. For me, this translates into true cinematic art. Many of the scenes would work well as a stand alone images framed, hanging in a gallery.

The other films by Ulrich Seidl continue this unique style reminding me of Diane Arbus, a truly gifted photographer of the societal fringe.
