I am a "yank" and I liked this film. But, it is true you need to have knowledge of British humor to understand it, and therefore appreciate it.
One should not make blanket statements like yours:

Stereotypical statements like these only show that you are narrow minded and prejudice.
He didn't say that all yanks hate it, more that all people that hate it are yanks..
shareHmmmm...perhaps that's what he meant, but it's not what he said. He said it's only THE yanks that hate it...that sounds all inclusive...he didn't say, the only ones that hate it are yanks.
Anyway, just sayin'...no biggie...I still enjoy it despite being a "bloody colonial."

Another non-'yank' who thought this film was rubbish. I only watched for Jonny Lee Miller, and I thought even he was pretty bad in this. The only bits of this film I actually liked were the karaoke scenes. Sigh... I just wasted two hours of my life.

I only watched this film to "yank" it to Denise Van Outen. I could care less about your film plots, just show more big british tittage.
