The psychotic ex-special forces guy

What was his name again I haven't seen the movie in ages? Anyway was the guy who played him actually ex-special forces because in the credits I recall he had some kind of rank or title at the end of his name, but I can't find anything on IMDB.

Anybody know?

Yes i seem to remember he had C.G.M after his name if memory serves me correct which is the conspicuous gallantry medal

Thanks for the Reply, I can only assume he earned such a medal in the Falklands.

Thought i'd better set the record straight he was awarded a Q.G.M (Queens Gallantry Medal) for defending a hotel full of civilians against Sierra Leonian rebels, IIRC. He was a civvy at the time, doing security work for a mining company. however he was once Special forces i belive

Oh ok. Cool thanks for the info.

You should go and find a book called 'Once a Pilgrim' by Will Scully. This is an account of what he did to win his medal. Its not another Bravo 20, this one is genuine.

Dont point that that at me, point it at the producer.

I know this may seem a bit long winded but an old colleague at work used to know his son and apparently he's just like that in real life - ie hard as nails, but a genuinely nice bloke
