Stupid movie

Again, blacks do hate a lot of things, but tomboys is not one of them.
This is the same nonsense as those who think "bro" is black or white slang *rolls eyes*
Yes I'm talking about the scene where Camille bashes Monica. This is completely *beep* and would not happen in a black home. In a Nord/Jewish home yes, but not in a Spanish home, and not in a black home either.

Maybe they are simply not typical...

robert-macc:

How the hell would you know? Have you been in the home of every black person in the country? I didn't think so. Black people aren't all alike, and we don't all like the same damn things, or do things the same damn way. And yeah, there is a such thing as black or white slang---we don't all talk alike--nothing wrong with admitting that. And even if you're black, that dosen't make you an authority on what black people are and aren't supposed to do. And "brother" is part of black slang, "bro" is part of white slang. That's a fact, so why would you even have a problem with that? There's nothing wrong with admitting our differences. And to claim this movie is stupid just because you didn't agree with one scene in it, just shows how stupid your opinion is. This film is for grown folks, not for silly little kids like you.

This is really off (apart from the silly ''slang''). Black women are KNOWN to keep them selves up. A matter of fact I believe they are the most appearance conscious of any race. Just ignore the slobs at the DMV or TSA. Looking sloppy and unkempt in terms of hair especially is a major deviation from the norm in black female culture. So yes, her not being interested in her appearance and dressing like a guy would subject her to criticism.
