If women's basketball is utterly worthless, why? You had to know a little about what this film is about. If you felt a certain way, why would you watch a movie (or maybe you didn't watch) that is based on a woman playing basketball? And if that wasn't enough, go through the trouble to get on the web and come to a page where people will be discussing (women) playing basketball?

You are absolutely right, comments don't have to all be positive and people can say whatever they want. I don't care whether they're positive or negative as they are only opinions that cause no threat to me whatsoever. But as you pointed out, this is a forum for the discussion of film and since your post about women's basketball had the vibe of dislike, I was just curious as to why someone who thinks who its lame would actually watch flick about it. People can do whatever they want, I don't care but I was just curious.

sharePoor marketing is much of the reason no one cares about the WNBA. Look at the logos. What self-respecting man would go to their games? Their players are also no charmers. If they had some personality and catered to men more, instead of the choir, which are lesbians, they'd get somewhere.
shareOpinions are just that...opinion. There are people who care about WNBA or just ball in generAL. No matter the gender or how they look. One things for sure though...women basketball players have their own association and get paid to pay ball. Plus they can travel if they want to. It better than critics who sitting at home who cannot play ball and who will never get into the NBA let alone the WNBA.
