You guys noticed Kikujiro's eye would twitch?

When he was talking who the Yakuza guys,he'd twitch. What was up with that?

Takeshi Kitano has an eye twitch in every movie. I think it started after his motorcycle accident in 1994, because I don't recall noticing it in his 1993 film "Sonatine".

What Kawada said. It's not for effect, but a very real result of the aforementioned accident, which messed him up pretty badly.
