Why the fudge did they stop this show?

The title says it all.

I totally agree. I love this show. I when I first saw it, they aired the episodes on WAM and I fell in love with the show instantly. If they had continued to make it, I'm sure they'd have as many seasons as CSI does, but still be WAY better than CSI.

I have wondered that for years. When it first came on I was in high school and was going through a lot of the things the show touched on. It was so nice to see something on t.v. that didn't focus on rich kids with teen beat issues. This show had a lot of substance, and it was and is deeply missed. The power this show has on fans is evident in the fact that 8 years after it was foolishly taken off air, it is still remembered and loved. That to me speaks volumes.

saint, you pretty much summed up the whole reason this show got canceled. the minute you get a bunch of sharp characters and substance in a teen show, it will be canceled ASAP and not because the kids aren't watching.

Answer: "The cancellation of the show was due to the network that it was on at the time, Fox Family having been sold. The show was a part of the company that didn't make it to ABC Family."

What a bummer and lame reason. Hahaha. I wish they could have thought of a way to reprise the show. But, it will be protected in TV memory. In addition, I have created a Facebook page for this TV show. It will be similar to other fan pages for TV shows. I have not seen one yet on FB, so was excited to get it started. If anyone is reading this, please head over to the page and "like" it for cool stuff including photos, episode synopses, cast bios, and more to come soon! Thanks, Christina Corriere
