Get all of the songs here!

I contacted the composer of the films/writer of all of the songs, Frankie Blue Sposato, who had no idea that the music from the "Cabin" films were so beloved. I even directed him towards these message boards, and he's read a bunch of the comments! Frankie very graciously sent me the songs and gave me his blessing to share them with all of you! So click 'em, save 'em and share 'em!

I too have been looking for these songs for quite some time! In fact, I used to listen to the credits over and over just to hear snippets of the songs. :)

Unfortunately, I keep getting a "bandwith exceeded" message when I try to download these. But I'll definitely try back again later!

Thanks!

Any ideas? I to have been looking for these songs ever since this first aired on TV.

Hey hey MPAA, how many movies did you censor today!

When I first uploaded those songs, I had unlimited bandwidth, but soon thereafter I started routinely having problems with the site (the site was down all day yesterday, Freelance). If you can't get 'em above, you can download them all packed into a rar file here:

You seriously are amazing. If i could send you flowers i would.

It is rare when you can actually find truly nice people. Thank you so much.

First of all, I think we should all be thanking composer Frankie Blue for sending me the mp3s in the first place. True, I tenaciously tracked him down (since he had no idea that the film/music has a minor cult following), but he's been extremely kind and generous. He's supposed to send me his score for "Return to CBTL" soon. I'll post it when I get it... I'm very unselfish when it comes to rarities.

Secondly, gotta say that I instantly recognized your tag quote and appreciated it, Freelance. Demented forever!

reply

HAH! Yes! Demented forever!

But wow you really went out there to find these then. How long did it take you to get a hold of him?

I found a Wild Colonials CD with "Cure" in 2003... which was already out of print at that point. It was serendipity, I never knew who the singer was. I looked for "Deliver Me" back then but came up empty. Then I hit this board in Feb/March of '07 and saw Frankie Blue cited as the singer (which he wasn't, but he was the composer). Quick web search and I found him. We wrote back and forth a couple times and a few days later he sent me the four songs and gave me his blessing to share them. Just a matter of the internet being a wonderful thing. The tracks have been spreading ever since (somebody even made a "Deliver Me" video for YouTube!).

I. Love. You.

Thanks so much for posting the links, especially "Cure" by Angela McClusky.

I had been looking for that one for a while.

I know I'm 3 years too late, but I don't suppose you still have those files lying around somewhere? *hopeful look* It's showing again today on tv and I've been attacked by a fit of nostalgia :)

I don't suppose you still have them, do you? One of the things that endears CBTL (and its sequel) to me has always been the music. It's almost like a lullaby.

If not, I totally understand. Incidentally, I also think it's awesome that you managed to track Frankie Blue down (if for no other reason than to thank him for his beautiful music).
