separating the soundtrack from the DVDs, or is this simply not possible? I really want some of the music from certain episodes, but I have no idea how to rip it.

I'm definitely not tech-savvy, but one way is to run the file through Zamzar.com, and make the output an Mp3 file. There probably are easier ways though.

shareI have done this before, with the majority of the episodes but not all. If I have some time, I could try to find a way to upload them on to a site, but I don't know where to do such a thing. Any suggestions and I might be able to do it relatively soon with the songs I have.

You could try a file sharing website like megaupload or sendspace, that's where I've gotten most of my soundtracks.

Well, I do know that Mozart's "Piano Concerto No. 21" is the opening for "The Tale of the Frog Prince" because I ran across it one day.
