This thread makes me want to cry... seriously.

I've got two more additions to the Jim Belushi of Pinnochio point.

James Coburn died in 2002 of a heart attack. And wonderful character actor Vincent Shiavelli who made an appearance as the Priest (and has been in many many many films) died of lung cancer not even two weeks ago -- December 26th, 2005.

Haha, yes, you're right. I just went along with it without really thinking... someone was like, "Belushi's dead" and I was like, "yeah, that's right, Belushi IS dead!" -- different Belushi. I just wasn't thinking about it.

Missing from the dead list thus far: Jean Stapleton (Edith Bunker), Gregory Hines (the incredible dancer), Klaus Kinski,

Dick Shawn--The Emperor's New Clothes. The way in which he died freaked me to no end. I was shocked to hear that Dana Hill was gone. I loved her performance in "The Shivers".

any more comments then?

reply

Mako, who appeared in "The Nightingale", has just passed on.

reply

I think I'll repost all of those I previously mentioned before someone reported abuse against me a while back (I wish I knew who and why.). There's Christopher Penn (Will Tussenbrook in "Rip Van Winkle") and directors Roger Vadim ("Beauty and the Beast") and Mark Cullingham ("The Princess Who Had Never Laughed" and "Cinderella"). Also, someone who I don't believe has been referenced yet: Harry Benson from "The Frog Prince".

reply

Peter Boretski, who played the necromancer in "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" passed away in 2001.

reply

I don't think anyone yet mentioned Gregory Hines, who was in Puss and Boots. He passed away in 2003.

reply

Gretel from Hansel and Gretel died of a drug overdose in 1997, I don't recall her name though.

reply

Her name was Bridgette Andersen, and she was 21, I believe.

That's so sad. I didn't realize that half of those people were even gone. Don't forget Lee Rimick who played the snow queen. She was a great actress.

"Everything I do, I do it for you."

reply

ok 2 and half years ago i started this thread and reading about thease actors deaths i begening to think this show was cursed like the poltugeist curse or the superman curse here

reply

I don't think the show is necessarily cursed. I mean, think of how old some of these people were when they died. Vincent Price and Klaus Kinski were definitely up there in the age department. I think a lot of the people listed just died of natural causes. Granted I could be wrong, I don't know exactly who everybody is but I know that this show started to air at least 3 years before I was born and I'm almost 21. 20+ years is a long time, especially if the people were in the 30s or older when they did these.

Just a thought.

reply

I don't know if anyone mentioned it but someone had Jean Stapleton on their list, she's still alive.

reply

Not anymore she's not. Sadly... :(

I love you, Kristen Stewart. :) You are so beautiful and talented. I would love to perform with you.
