Rest In Peace Sir George Martin

Sad news today, saw Ringo's tweet this afternoon and still quite shocked and sad. George Martin lived a very special gifted life and gave so much joy to the world during his 50-year career. He was a gentleman, he was cool, he was incredibly talented, and yet refreshingly humble. No I didn't know him personally, but he touched my life and the lives of millions of a certain age. One of my first musical memories was listening to The Beatles "Revolver" album over and over again back in the 60s. It was one of the most amazing albums for its time and even now stands out as legendary. Anyway, if you haven't seen it yet, watch this well-made documentary of his life's work "Produced by George Martin". It's almost a sort of swan song as he reflects back on all the years and remembers that it was a good life with a great deal of success and love. God bless the memory of this amazing man.
