I watched this for Pete Duel

What a tragedy!

Bless their hearts, most of the rest of the people were "stagy." Pete had such a naturalistic style. He simply embodied the characters. The others seemed forced, but he didn't, even though some of the lines were a tad stagy themselves. He managed to give a performance that was truly believable.

Will Geer, who was also in this production, once told him on the set of "Alias Smith and Jones" that he had it in him to be as big a star as Paul Newman. He just kept saying, "Don't BS me!"

But he really did.

Just because I don't have patience for obviously false beliefs doesn't mean I'm intolerant.
