Is it true that C. Thomas Howell was suffering from a nasty case of laryngitis during filming/post-production? I just can't think of any other reason for them to have Steve Buscemi do all of voiceovers.
shareWith the heavy improvisation in this film one can only conclude that Thomas Howell's voice was dubbed over with Buscemi's. When asked what kind of fish Howell and Mike were looking at, Howell's response of 'They're horny fish!! c'mon i need to get laid' only makes this hypothesis certain. This is obviously not a response that would be made by C. Thomas Howell. Also, the segment where Howell is going on about why he never tips waitresses seemed just a little too Buscemi.
